About Us
My name is Dr. Jill Nezworski. I graduated veterinary school in 2002 from the University of Minnesota. At the University of Minnesota, I focused on poultry and production medicine studying under Dr. David Halvorson. Preceptorships during school included Willmar Poultry Company, The Turkey Store, Hyline International and Longmont Foods.
After graduation, my husband and I did a short stint of large animal practice in Wessington Springs, SD. After 8 months in the large animal practice, I was able to join the Michael Foods team working with their 2.5 million layers and 800,000 pullet egg production system. I left Michael Foods for an opportunity to broaden my experience as a Staff Veterinarian for Christensen Farms; one of the largest hog producing companies in the US.
In May 2010 I started my own practice - Blue House Veterinary to provide independent veterinary service for poultry producers who are currently underserved. My goal is to help producers become more profitable and, therefore, sustainable.
